IRVINE, CA – November 16, 2021 – Getac USA, a key subsidiary of MiTAC-Synnex Business Group, has named Walter Chantlos Director of Product Solutions for operations in the U.S. based out of its Irvine, California offices.
Walt brings over 20 years of experience in rugged technology with a unique understanding of solution-based sales and leveraging the strengths of an organization’s core products and services. Walt’s visionary solution focus will help drive increased customer retention while developing a broad solution portfolio that can expand customer adoption as well as customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining Getac, Walt was National Sales Manager of Professional Services for Panasonic working in all levels of Federal, State and Local government agencies, Public Safety, and F500 Enterprise customers. Walt was integral in developing and managing an overall service and solutions portfolio that doubled professional services revenue.
Additionally, Walt increased the software ISV catalog of services, developed vertical-specific sales strategies, engaged in C-level sales presentations, negotiated sales and vendor contracts, and served as the point man for all solution considerations. Walt also developed a solution ecosystem surrounding a new Android marketplace offering, including negotiating and executing required contracts with domestic and overseas suppliers to deliver a market-leading Android solution portfolio.
