Modern production has increased the degree of reliance on technology, and maintenance of related equipment. Plans of industrial safety have become more elaborate and complex. A devastating impact may influence the entire industry. To address industrial safety issues, Getac participated in the 2015 Industrial Safety and Environmental Supervision Conference (ISES) hosted by Digitimes on February 5th.
Getac demonstrated the ruggedness of the V110, F110, T800, Z710, PS336 devices onsite. A forum also took place where Getac shared about how intelligent devices can help industrial supervision and safety. Since industrial safety is an important issue, implementing IT solutions using intelligent devices such as tablets and handhelds has turned into a growing trend. The devices need to be certificated for ruggedness to ensure smooth operations in harsh environments. ISES was a very successful event for Getac, attracting lots of traffic to the stand and received very positive feedback from the forum attendees.
